Community Information Fair

Positive Images Festival hosts the Community Information Fair as part of its festival celebrations.
The Fair is located in the heart of the City Centre and features 13 marquees with 26 stalls offering a great opportunity to find out about the work of local community groups and other public service organisations.  You will also be able to find out about the services they offer to the people of Coventry.

Coventry City Council needs more people to foster and adopt Coventry children. The Adopt and Foster for Coventry team would like to speak to anyone who is interested in helping us care for Coventry children by providing children with a safe, secure and nurturing home.

Age UK Coventry

Age UK Coventry is the city’s leading charity for older people, providing a wide range of specialist services and products aimed at improving life for people over 50, to help make later life a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Last year we helped over 18,000 local people, many of whom sought assistance at those points in life when the right advice and support can make a significant difference to them and their families.  Our services are open to people aged 50+.

Alzheimer’s Society

850,000 people live with dementia in the UK alone.  Alzheimer’s Society provides information and support for people with all forms of dementia and those who care for them. We run quality care services, fund research, advise professionals and campaign for improved health and social care and greater public understanding of dementia.

Belgrade Theatre

Central England Lipreading Support Trust (CELST)

CELST provides Lipreading courses for people with hearing loss in the Coventry and Warwickshire areas.  Lipreading is a skill that helps people cope with hearing loss, by teaching how to recognise lip shapes. Our courses teach coping strategies to aid communication and help prevent isolation.

Coventry Library Service

Coventry Library Service offers a wide range of items to borrow and use in libraries, as well as computer,  Wi-Fi, printing, scanning and photocopying facilities.  Also spaces for individuals and groups to use.  We offer free regular events for all ages and interests, at all libraries across the city.

Coventry Recovery Partnership

We provide advice, support and treatment for adults in Coventry and Warwickshire who have been affected by alcohol or drugs.  Our project workers, recovery champions and volunteers are trained to provide a wide range of support whether 1 to 1 or in a group session for you or your family.

One Voice Parents' Group

We are a group of parents of children with disabilities who have joined together to try to make a difference by helping to influence and shape services for disabled children in Coventry.
The Group was formed as part of the Aiming High for Disabled Children transformation programme and is part of a National Network of Parent Carer Forums.

Oral Health Promotion (Coventry Community Dental Service) 

The Oral Health Promotion Team attend National and local health events/ campaigns to promote the importance of good health care.  They deliver evidence-based oral health education to the following groups: Under 5’s Settings, Schools and Colleges; Health Professionals and Carers; and Special Needs/Vulnerable People/Mental Health/Older Persons.

Relate Coventry and Warwickshire

Valley House
