Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC), a charity formed in 2000, aims to support refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants in the city. Initially, community-based volunteers in Hillfields began supporting migrants in Coventry from the back of a local launderette. The charity has grown exponentially during the past 17 years and now utilises the kindness and expertise of 80 volunteers and 30 members of staff to support over 3,000 vulnerable refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants each year. The charity welcomes all refugees and migrants to help them rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential, supporting their integration into the city’s local communities, and encouraging them to contribute fully to the life of Coventry, all while in safety and with dignity. It achieves this with support from funders, advice from board members, the generosity of partners and the unwavering dedication of staff and volunteers and also by providing a range of services to address its clients’ needs. In celebration of Positive Images, we will be offering a discount of 20% on all new immigration law matters that we are instructed upon in June and July 2017.
