The Coventry Association for International Friendship is a people to people organisation that promotes peace and understanding both in Coventry and in its twin and friendship towns and cities.
Coventry Adult Education Service offer a wide range of courses in local venues across the city. Carers Trust Heart of England’s aim is to support carers and those they care for by providing the highest possible quality, individually tailored care support service that improves the lives of carers, the people they care for and their families.
We provide integrated services that place the needs of the carer and the people they care for at the heart of everything we do. We support people across Coventry and Warwickshire by providing:
• information, advice and support, including emotional support, in one to one situations and to groups of carers including emotional support to help them maintain their own health and wellbeing
• practical and emotional support to people living with a disability, illness or advanced age, their carers and their families enabling people to live independently in their own homes
• training for carers both in groups or one to one in their own home, to equip them with the skills they need to continue in their caring role
• support to Young Carers enabling them to fulfil their full potential
Coventry Freemen are unique, as to become a Freeman is only by completing an indentured apprenticeship within Coventry. The original guilds were created in the 14th Century. The Coventry Irish Society is a charity organisation that was established in 1993 to address the health and welfare needs of the most vulnerable Irish in Coventry and the Surrounding areas:
• To ensure the vulnerable Irish are receiving necessary health and welfare entitlements and appropriate housing.
• To support Irish Survivors, Irish Travellers and other vulnerable Irish.
• To promote Irish culture and a positive sense of Irish identity.
• To provide information and advice to the Irish community in general, including but not limited to, applications for birth, marriage and death certificates in England and Ireland, as well as Irish passports and travel advice.
• To tackle social exclusion and isolation within the Irish community with a particular focus on the Irish living with memory loss.
• To celebrate Irish culture and heritage and promote a positive sense of Irish identity in the city.

CRASAC is a rape crisis centre which provides specialist support for women, men, and children who have experienced any kind of sexual abuse at any time in their life, through face -to-face individual counselling from aged 5 years.
Practical, emotional and advocacy support to female and male victims who are going through the Criminal Justice System. An outreach service provides support information and advocacy to BAME community within community settings.
We aim to address the trauma and injustice of abuse through promoting the needs and voices of victims and survivors through training and aware raising.

The 3 Rotary Clubs of Coventry are proud of the city’s heritage, its history of invention and manufacture, and its place in the world as the City of Peace and Reconciliation.
As Clubs, we organise and support a whole range of activities throughout the city.
During the pandemic, we supported the Coventry Food Bank, and more recently have provided Oxygen Concentrators for India.
Rotarians engage in many charitable activities and organisations, both in the local community and globally.
We are proud to have supported the recent CVX Festival, one of the City of Culture’s Youth Projects. Through music, dance, rap and the spoken word, CVX has enabled vulnerable youngsters to express themselves and their desire to live in a safer city and world, with better prospects for the future.

Shine A Light Support Service are an all-volunteer registered charity who provide support to families across Coventry and Warwickshire who are affected by cancer. We provide person centred counselling for adults and for children, activity sessions for adults, children and young people and whole family groups, coffee and drop-in sessions and days out.
During the Covid pandemic we have delivered services online and by telephone to continue support. Our family centre and offices are based within the Koco Community Resource Centre in Spon End, Coventry.
Voluntary Action Coventry exists to increase and better support social action and community resilience in Coventry; strengthening communities and improving quality of life for residents in the city. We strive to create an environment that enables individuals and communities to overcome barriers and disadvantage and to progress positively to independence.
WATCH is a charity supporting people facing exclusion, disadvantage and deprivation. We help people from minority groups who are culturally under represented by providing them different support and services that aim to improve the quality of their lives such as: ESOL; Employment support (CV Job search) and IT training.
