Positive Images Festival are commissioning 10 local, emerging artists to create a piece of work for the Positive Images and Words exhibition in March 2022

We will be commissioning a diverse range of visual artists from across Coventry and in particular we want to support artists who consider themselves to be in the early stages of their career.

Applicants must be over 18 and living or working in Coventry.

The theme of the project is ‘eco-friendliness’ and this should be reflected in the piece you want to create; we are especially keen to see recycled materials being used.

Successful artists will be paid £350.

Application deadline: Midnight on Friday 17th December 2021

Applicants will be informed of the outcome by Friday 7th January

Explain in up to 300 words (or a 2-minute video clip) any previous art experience and why you would like to take part;
