Positive Images Festival are looking forward to bringing a bit of positivity into the world with this booklet of poems so please keep this in mind when submitting your poems.
Our judges are looking for an original take on the theme, don’t try and cover everything in one poem - be specific and avoid clichés. The quality of poems increases each year so we are really looking forward to reading your poetic offerings again this year.
The competition is free to enter and is open everyone over 16 years of age.
Entries must be emailed to: [email protected] along with your full name, your name as you would like it to appearing print (if this is different to your full name), address, email address and telephone number.

The event will be held at Methodist Central Hall, Coventry City Centre.
These are universal themes, which have been needed more than ever during the past two years. The theme can be interpreted in any way, for example, faith does not need to be referred to in a religious sense (although it could be if that’s the poem you want to write!).
