Dreamscape Movement and art
3 x 3 stand alone workshops to be held at St Peter's Centre
The first Saturday of the month starting

All starting from 9.30 a.m until 12.30 p.m
Materials (Paper, Pens, sticky tape, bin bags, plastic table clothes, paper napkins, ribbon, stick on gems and various stickers) and refreshments provided.
The workshop brings two creative artists together using different mediums in the form of dance/drama/movement being used as inspiration to create pieces of art in costumes formed from household and recycled items.
The workshop is open to young people from the age of 8 upwards.
Merging movement and art, this exciting project will inspire the young imagination by delving into the magical world of dreams.
Young people are invited to come and explore their creativity with art and movement and have fun.
Pre-booking is advised as places are limited.
Kate Severn Hills is an artist working with mixed media in 2D and 3D.
Kate runs art and craft workshops for all ages, helping participants in exploring their creative side and encouraging passion in the arts with new found skills. Kate is the founder of Create to Motivate, running weekly sessions for women only group.
Sarah Zebrzuski is a performing arts practitioner with over 10 years experience. Specialising in directing and choreography, working with children and adults.
Sarah is the founder of Indigo Arts which hold weekly sessions for children using dance/movement/ drama.
A Picture Paints a Thousand Words – but combine photography with words to create something amazing!
Multi-published writer and photographer, Ann Evans and Robert Tysall will be running a series of workshops at Coventry Central Library.
Come along and discover ways of combining photographs with words – and be inspired to create something special.

May 24 (10.30am-12.30pm) A Poetic Picture: Learn how to create something beautiful that you will want to keep forever.
JUNE 7 (10.30am-12.30pm) PhotoTo Feature Writing: Pick up tips and advice on how to become a successful photo feature writer, producing articles that editors will want to accept, and readers will want to read.

An understanding of how to use essential oils for health and wellbeing.
Steps to plant a seed/ sapling (kids) – Basic gardening demonstration
a simple project to teach the children about gardening basics, such as healthy soil, sunlight and water.

Dance and Best out of Waste (kids)
Dance is form of exercise and keeps the body fit. Learn to dance by a professional in simple and easy steps – Anybody Can Dance.
Best out of waste: make use of things at home to create master pieces of utility items.

Mindfulness, Rangoli and Mehndi
Mindfulness is about noticing small things around us and living in the present moment. Practicing mindfulness has many health benefits and some basic mindfulness exercises with the advantages will be discussed and practiced in this session.
Learn how to apply Henna tattoos and create beautiful designs on the palms. Also learn to make Rangoli patterns using powdered colours.

A guided exploration of movement and form, combining expressive drawing and yoga.
You will have the opportunity to unlock your artistic creativity and to learn basic yoga postures in a relaxed and peaceful setting.
The sessions will begin and end with a short group meditation to set the tone.
No previous knowledge is required, but participants should be 16+ and reasonably fit. All art and yoga materials provided, but feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you wish. Please wear loose comfortable clothing.

Materials (paper, pens, paint, brushes, canvases etc...) and refreshments provided.
The workshop brings two artists together using two different mediums; written word in the form of poetry and the use of colour in the form of paint on canvas.
Participants will create a written piece that will then be used as the inspiration for an art work. Participants do not need to be 'good' at writing or art, everyone is welcome to come along and be creative in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Kate Severn Hills is an artist working with mixed media in 2 and 3D. Kate runs art and craft workshops assisting participants in exploring their dormant creative side and encouraging passion in the arts with new found skills.
Emilie Lauren Jones is a published poet and regular performer of poetry. Emilie runs monthly poetry workshops at Central library, Coventry. In 2018, she completed an MA in Creative Writing at The University of Birmingham.
Singing and Drumming Workshops

Positive images commissions Kadence Music with Fran Egan Kelly. These workshops will be singing and hand drumming to produce 3 timeless songs well known for their social impact around the world.
Fran has been singing for many years both national and international ranging from Jazz/pop/gospel and now producing her own original material.
Kadence Music – Mahandra Patel has been playing hand drums for over 30yrs, mixing different styles from around the world. Especially known for his ability to play by ear for show/gigs without any rehearsals. Working within Coventry communities delivering workshops enabling all people to have a go and play some great music.
