Winners announced

The winners of the competition were announced at the Positive Images Peace Festival Poetry Awards, which will took place on Saturday 18th November 2023 at the LTB Showroom in the city centre.

Competition Details

Category:  16 years and over
Prizes:   Winner £100   Runner Up;  £50   
Highly Commended (as agreed  by Competition  Judging Panel)

Competition Dates:  Entries must be submitted between 1st October and 11th November 2023

Poem Length:  No more than 40 lines (excluding title and line breaks)
Maximum Number of Entries:    Three per person
Poem Format:  All entries must be submitted  as Word Documents and emailed to positiveimagesfest@yahoo.com   No other formats will be accepted
Please add your name and address when you send in your entry/entries
Deadline for Entries:   5pm  Saturday 11th November 2023

All entrants will have the opportunity to read one of their entries at the Positive Images Peace Festival Poetry Awards, which will take place on Saturday 18th November 2023 at the LTB Showroom in the city centre.
All poems entered will appear on the Positive Images Festival Website and the best poems will be published in the Chatterbox Magazine.
All poems will be available for selection  in the FREE Poetry Competition  booklet to be available in early 2024.
Free booklets will be available to all entrants.
The Judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
